when you also take his influence into account which is not just in the plot but also in the thematic aspects and the duality between jobin and josuke, his design, the several healing devices in the story, the fact that the 'nature' of his stand hasn't been revealed yet, the fact that the only 'confirmations' of his death in the story are from a person who is emotionally quite unstable and a person who hasn't been able to come up close to him to confirm his death, then his survival becomes a very real possibility

besides that we also have the piece from the volume summary, but that isn't evidence in the slightest as it's obvious that either jobin is dead or that araki wants to trick you into believing that he's dead to make his return and involvement in the story more sudden (under the assumption that the volume summary was written by araki himself which is a flawed assumption to make in the first place)
