Either way, it is also activated by her target opening something, this opening being vaguely defined (Josuke opens his flip phone and is attacked in an earlier chapter.)

This arc def confounds me in this tho: We're about 18 chapters into Endless Calamity. ||The D4C arc was about 19 chapters and basically showed off how broken the main villain was.|| That also happened about nearly ||40 chapters|| sooner than now. relative to where we are in JJL I'd say that means the end is near but Tooru showed up for the first time to be the villain of this arc. Main villains get foreshadowed sooned than that! ||Valentine showed up 40 chapters before that arc even! || Is this arc really villain reveal sized despite that? Like my gut instinct is still Kato but as far as narrative structure goes Araki is really throwing me for a loop. I'm just gonna trust this is appropriate for the kind of story he's looking to tell and expect it to work out, because it's been so good up to now.
