we just keep getting new characters that disappear after they're introduced or just don't do anything important to the plot (half of the higashikata family), we keep hearing the same exact explanation about the rokakaka and it has been over 80 chapters and we know nothing about the rock humans origins or who the main villain even is, making the plot feel like its going at a glacial pace

I agree, the seeming exclusion of half the Higashikata family does feel cheap as people like kaato and kyo have seemingly vanished as of now. The main villain point is pretty contentious for a lot of people as some believe jobin to be the main "antagonist" but not a "big bad" archetypal villain. The exclusion of a big bad so far is an issue to some and a non issue to some as well and only time will tell if this issue could really be solved. I also agree that explanations of Rokakaka really have begun to wear on the story quite alot as we've known enough about their actual ability for a very long time now.

the B&W come out every month on the 19th or so, besides a month or 2 hiatus at the beginning of each year. so switching will give you more consistent updates once you catch up
