Elemental as you might know on arc grants a shit load of handling

What I would do, whenever I saw a ammo brick on the map was pull out my shotgun instantly via qd, slide over the ammo to reload my shotgun, swap back instantly due to my HC having almost max handling with Elemental and now have twice the magazine capacity because of overflow and 5 seconds of 2tapping with near instant scope too because of the above mentioned Elemental Capacitor

Plus the obvious other benefits of Dunemarchers increased sprint speed by default

As someone who has gotten back into d1 I think as a whole its a better game than d2 right now because its systems are more harmonious though that will probably change with the final update

yeah but qol can only take you so far when a lot of your content is kind of meaningless for your progression. In d1 it feels better to progress vendors; factions, prison of elders, vanguard, and crucible. Not to mention it still has nightfalls and relevant raid loot. You even still have reasons to patrol and search for public events or taken world bosses.
D2 has more but the ways in which some systems have been altered and implemented have hurt the feel of the game.

Alas pre eof I would say d2 is better but the portal genuinely did a lot of damage
