Way I see it crafting will still be as it is and new perks will be cool but crafting still doesn't have access to enhanced barrels, mags or the unique T5 ornaments/enhanced mods. Unless you have an adept crafted weapon ofc but overall a T5 weapon drop will be better than a crafted roll.

Now though all RAD content has reason to be engaged with again. Just depends on what kinds of weapon perk refreshes and armour set bonuses there are

Don't expect any to be insanely game breaking or anything, like the current best set bonus we have is smoke jumper or ferro and that's not even helping you kill stuff faster it's just putting the game on "turn brain off" mode

Raid weapons aren’t getting tiers just the dungeon weapons. Raid weapons (since they’re craftable) are going to have the ability to be upgraded to the T5 equivalent. They haven’t elaborated on that but I’m assuming it means you’ll be able to slot additional perks in 3rd and 4th column along with enhancing barrel mag and origin perk.

We also don’t know what will be required to upgrade them. I can’t imagine Bungie would make us regrind red borders but who knows.

Reckoning as pinnacle ops and Menagerie for Arena

Reckoning would fit more into an arena op i feel.
Pinnacle ops are more for things like exotic missions, dungeon encounters, things like that

Menagerie and reckoning are arena style activities

And as jongo said forges last for only a minute or a lil more. They'd be more comparable to a solo op and even those last longer
