You just sign into your account so it gets access to all of the armor and your vault and then you plug in based off the sub class, fragments aspects, etc. any stat bonuses or decreases and then it’ll put the armor build together for you

Correct as you plug stats in it’ll only show the highest value that you’re able to obtain with the armor you currently have

So if the combination you’re trying to make is impossible, you need to keep grinding

The good thing is as you choose your stat values. It will adjust what’s attainable from the other stat values so you could at least focus in on what armor you need the far more of

just plug in the best stats you can get rn and look at the archetype of the pieces it gives you, let’s say you have excess nade stat and want more super, you would want to grind a paragon piece to replace a grenadier you have equipped

same deal for set bonuses

For me it was easier to just look at the available archetypes, pick a set bonus I wanted and start grinding.
For geo-lock I went with grenadier armor and a super tuning stat, my tertiary is health/class because I don’t really care about the 3rd stat.
I ended up with 200 super, 115 grenade, 50 class & 50 health.
