Like I’m pretty sure the first Subjugators were made by splitting a Tormentor in half and molding them into the shapes of Lubraens

I’d assume the same goes for Husks, they’re taking the idea of hive and worms but don’t really have to exclusively be made out of acolytes

The only exceptions to this are the Psion ones which are very clearly just normal Psions who got augmentations

Like a subjugator looking like rhulk is because his blueprint is used in their creation for the most part save for some other examples. This is why you see a lot of tormentors with the name "imprint of nezarec" it's a little bit like cloning only the witness is shaping them into what they are.

Again this doesn't apply to every single dread but it's what they are inspired by for the most part.
