it would take alot of the unstable cores possibly like 30-50k to turn a t4 to a t5 but it would reroll the perks so your effectivly sacrificing a roll in hopes you get a better tier 5

That's still not going to solve the issue. A T5 piece of loot should be rare. You want the best loot you'll have to go the extra mile to get it. Yes the grind is quite slow and even bungie acknowledges this but again that loot should be the rarest at and only available at higher levels of content.

I've always thought this. Don't get me wrong heal clip is a neat perk but I personally feel it's quite overrated.
Like there is such a thing as going overboard on healing

I only use devour for healing. The rest of my build is DR from many different sources.

People are also going nuts over the solstice set because again, healing.

Yes but again if you have other sources of healing already then I think heal clip goes down in value. And you miss out on perks that make you more efficient with your weapons like some ammo refunding perks, mag size increasing perks or AoE perks

I can get three from hard light easy, but 4 and 5 are harder, requiring my subclass. I try to use suspend with arbor warden, kill with hard light to spawn diamond lance, and get my final element by freezing someone

Its very hard to pull of though as people are hand holding like crazy in PvP now that infinite shotgun ammo isn't a thing anymore
