It's a lil tricky with the archetypes we have rn. There's a lot of combinations don't get me wrong but you can't get something like a melee/super combo or health/weapon combo.
I think I'm going to try.
2 gunner, 1 brawler, 1 paragon and 1 grenadier with a 2pc techsec.
I'm actually a lil glad armour stats are a lot more predictable because if I find a tier 2 of what I want that means for the tier 4 or 5 it'll be the same just with higher base stats.

I'm in the same boat. I remember back when you'd have LASO and Vidmaster challenges, and your Vidmaster stuff would be displayed on Bungie for everyone to see, that was awesome.
I'm all for competition in video games and raid races, but like everything, there is a chunk of this community that are really sad and toxic and ruin everything.

Unfortunately it's part of every game. I'm also fine with competition but it's always taken too far and lots of people myself included get rejected when simply looking for a team to try the new content with.
Some content creators start being on high horses and looking down on others even with a list of requirements to join their team.
I even know one who doesn't even meet the requirements they set themselves.

Absolutely agreed, I LOVED Rite of the Nine for trying to include the newer players, because I cannot imagine how daunting it is to go on LFG and start raiding with some really nasty people, who use their gametime or knowledge as a justification to start berating a new player.
I am not a raider by any means, so I always do the easiest roles in raids as it gets done quickly that way, but I never LFG, especially as a girl
I don't pay attention to the youtuber/twitch sphere of Destiny besides popping in for my Twitch Emblem, and for good reason. Some people just get way too caught up in a game

I don't LFG for raids anymore. Too many bad experiences and just too much left to chance for an activity needing 6 players to communicate.
Dungeons on the other hand are my favourite content in game because they have raid like mechanics but aren't as heavy on communication so LFG is easier depending on the dungeon
Other than that I really just play solo the rest of the time. I love having friends on destiny and I do play with folks from time to time but generally it's just me messing around on my own.
