All ritual activities drop legendary strange coins now. I havent done any strikes, gambit, or dares for quite a long time, but crucible control matches seem to give around 3-4 coins per match, and the matches usually last around 7-8 minutes for me.

But if you spend enough strange coins with Xur (i think it requires 41 coins, so buying one golf ball for 41 coins should be enough spent) you get something that gives you a stackable chance to get an extra strange coin whenever you get a strange coin
