Vex Strike Force is a special public event on Neomuna that is guaranteed to drop an exotic on successful completion. Despite being on Neomuna, it does not require Lightfall to get rewards. The exotic loot pool is determined by what DLC you own (and includes LLS exotics). Unacquired exotics that you have access to are guaranteed to drop before duplicates.

When does it happen?

It's random. There's a discord server that runs a bot that'll alert you when one is coming and help you group up with other players to work on it. It's an 1810 activity so it's useful to have a big group.

If you are a solo player, keep in mind it is better to load into the Liming Harbour even if the VSF is in a different area as it is more likely you'll join instances with other people.

Note: VSF won't happen when Terminal Overload is active in the same spot.
