The slots are to catch jabs, as the weapon is effectively indestructible it helps quite a bit

The hand guard only needs to be of a specific size if your hand is that close anyway

Usually your dominant hand goes lower down a bit instead of holding up to the guard

I do gotta make the hand guard a bit bigger though

The way we set up our power system in our story is actually really fun to try and write around

Because it essentially makes things like guns useless

Without the characters being Goku level of power

And the ways we’ve gotten around our set rules are really fun too

Basically the power system is this:

Think of 3 main stats you can spec into, them being Durability, Speed and strength. What makes them interesting is that you can’t spec into all 3 at once and be literally god, you have to sacrifice your other 2 stats to buff up one

So sure you can move at Mach 5, but if I breathe on you, you are going to die and you can’t fight back with no strength. Sure you can hit me with the force of a nuclear bomb, but it won’t matter if you can’t hit me

yup i noticed, i did try it with and without tho and it still pumps out 5 grenades regardless of that and your discipline stat. so benevolence just nets you a bit more energy towards the next nade not an extra one like i thought. unironically even after the nerfs and you can see i used it in my damage rotation, impact induction and momentum transfer might actually make a difference
