Stats are based on your actual armour! The armour people usually wear is an ornament from synthweaves from either purchase or ada1s bounties! Best to farm some engrams for focus of seasonal activities or master dungeons for high stat armour. Then just look at collections, see what looks nice, get it if possible, then start seeing what will work with it, what looks great, and try some shaders, mix and match for more creativity and uniqueness, but of course keep in mind that YOU like it!!
