I kinda got the mark cause it glows and I like the VoG Mark, just never had a reason to use it.

For lighting I usually just use random point lights. Since I dont often use actual maps most of the time I dont use their lighting, I try to work into what colour would seem appealing here. So I typically add pinks and purples to the right, Blues to the left both infront and behind the character. And for effects and such it depends what im using, I usually utilize the warlock ui effects from thw subclass screen and toy with those to get proper effects going on with whatever element im using. But if im rendering in cycles I also use the B'rn cube addon which is free. But I usually use eevee

But I love messing with volumetric fog, Depth of field and such

For renders like these: The first one I tore apart a solar ball for the background (I still hate this render because I never posed the hunters cape at all) abd started to tear a void ball while merging them and such, Add lighting to where the effects are coming from and it usually ends up better. For the secons, That projects lights messed up and so i had to light that myself, Which was just suns and points based on the backgrounding neon pink lining
