Sure, but those are abilities with a more strict downtime and require you to act on them, which not every player can do. The passive overshield buffer going into a fight and from killing at full health can be more friendly to a player that isn't used to knowing when to heal nade/cure, or who might not have it available at a given moment.

And since they use Gunpowder Gamble, the neccesity to throw GPG then heal nade can be the difference between living/dying, which can take time to adjust to.

well, I do apologize for the late reply as it took me a moment to absorb all of the information, I do have to say that I don't usually play PVP unless I'm trying to scratch the itch that is telling me to redownload call of duty so I'm not too worried about that solar PVP build. now PVE on the other hand I play 10 times more of and am currently attempting to learn enough to do raids dungeons and challenge content.

but for the solar PVE build, me and my brother duoed sere last night and two phased her, then we two phased her. then we did the lightsaber welding cabal in 3 fases as a duo. during that I popped and regained my super 3 times and then had 3/4ths of my super gauge filled up afterwards. with the changes you guys suggested I'm thinking it might hit harder and better.

the only one I've used consistently is the orphs/moebius quiver with levy mint and reghusk and that seems to melt pretty quickly and I can proc my super 2 times while having a 3/4 super bar after

If you're doing duo content, get yourself a Wolfsbane, Celestial Nighthawk and run Golden Gun. You sound like you're doing fine as is, so it's really a matter of bringing the build to be more cohesive with itself. For ranged encounters, replace Wolfsbane with Still Hunt (when on Celestial Nighthawk) for double golden gun.

I love Blade Barrage but in my time recently after coming back, it's not hitting as hard as I'd like, but Cele/GG is doing exactly that.

Well, Wolfsbane is obtainable via the exotic mission "Heliostat", found in the "Pinnacle Ops" section of the portal.
Celestial Nighthawk is easy to get, just focus it from Rahool.
Still Hunt takes a bit more time, being a post-Final Shape campaign quest exotic.

It's RNG. No, the game is not bugged for you, or broken, it's simply bad luck.

• Bungie does not publish drop rates.
• We don't know how many estimated runs it will take for a specific item to drop.
• We do not know how much drop-rate-boosting triumphs contribute either, since we don't know the base drop rate.
• Runs are all separate environments. A 1/3 chance does not mean you get the loot you want one out of three times, it just means there is that percentage of chance whenever you run the activity that you get said loot.
• Perks are not weighted. All weapons drop with their perks at the same rate.

Just to provide clarification as I said I would: Grandmaster Conquest: Arms Dealer also does not take away your revive tokens after the timer runs out.

It seems only Master Conquest: Derealize does that for some reason.

The experts do not, either.

Something tells me the issue lies with Derealize, not with the others, unless it has been the absolute standard until now for GM Conquests to revoke all revive tokens after the Bonus Score timer runs out.

In Destiny 1, there was a gun called Red Death that was used by a guardian who killed other guardians. It's perk set made it specifically benefit from killing guardians, and it was adorned with markings to denote its killing of guardians, so the Vanguage urged its destruction.

In Destiny 2, it returned after it was found, taken apart, cleansed by a Warlock, and rebuilt into Red Death Reformed.

The lore doesn't mean anything for the mechanics/gameplay but in case you were curious or cared.

Crimson is just a spiritual successor to Red Death, and existed before Red Death Reformed was added to Destiny 2.

For a long time, it was just the Destiny 2 version of Red Death, which did not originally come to Destiny 2.

Well then, there's Blast Furnace from Xur, Sacred Provenance from Garden of Salvation, Chattering Bone from Last Wish, and I think Disparity is probably only through Seraph's Shield when available. All of those are 450 rpms and all have more range than Redrix and BXR.

Of the exotics, there's Revision Zero from Seraph's Shield, Bad Juju from the Monument to Lost Lights, and Outbreak Perfected from Zero Hour.

Bad Juju can just be bought whenever from the kiosk, Zero Hour is always available whenever, Seraph's Shield is on a rotation in the Legends node and appears on Tuesday before leaving for several weeks. Last Wish and Garden of Salvation are both raids, whose loot is being refreshed June 9. Xur is only here on the weekends and you'd most likely be gambling for Blast Furnace.

There's also again Redrix's Estoc, which has less range by a little, and Belisarius-D, which has more range, from Glory/Competitive Crucible matches.

Okay, well, you can skip the order things.

For gameplay purposes, the primary expansions you will want are going to be Lightfall, Witch Queen, Final Shape, Edge of Fate and Renegades. These are the "main" expansions that add the most content overall.

However, before you buy ANYTHING, give the game some time. My recommendation is 10 hours. Get going, do some simple content, start to understand the basics and when you start to reach a point where you ask yourself "What do I do now?" you can think about buying expansions.

While the expansions come with lots of content, there's a decent amount in the base game and no amount of expansion content will make up for if you just do not like the game.

If you're enjoying killing stuff, try doing some lower difficult content in Solo or Fireteam Ops.

I like Devil's Lair on GM, personally. I can tear through that strike solo but also just really enjoy it.

I think Solo Ops are probably the best option? Assuming they give coins.

I'd also say Devil's Lair is one of the faster Fireteam Ops there.

The only "slow" part is the ghost hacking part, where you're constrained on speed to a certain point, but the rest of it moves about as fast as you can kill the neccesary enemies.

Excluding the 2 phase breaks for the final boss where he takes a few moments to teleport to the middle and spawn his 4 servitors to kill to drop the phase shield.

I'd suggest just play something you know, explore other options after you've got a grasp on what you're doing in the current landscape.

That said, a meta setup is not a bad choice to start with, as it gives you a build to do, a goal to chase (get it set up), and performs well.
