Used to I could run something like Avalon and get seasonal weapons and armor from when it released, but running Kell's Fall only drops newgear, from what I've seen.

Is it just something they forgot? Ir is it maybe that the new momument in the tower is how you get the armors so they just send the weapons to xûr to spite me, in particular?

Hey guys really new player, started 2 days ago. I’ve been going through the guardian ranks and I’m currently progressing 6, one of the requirements has me having to beat an expert conquest activity. I tried Sunless Cell and it was incredibly hard and I had to give up. Am I missing something? My power is at the power cap, should I do something different?

It’s better to find a fireteam and run that stuff with

Solo especially so early is not a very good idea

Quick question lads, not played the game since Final Shape, So im pretty much needing to rebuild all my x3 100 stat armour sets from scratch for this stupid new "Its not called Intelligence, Discipline etc" system

Long story short, What's the new "highest base stat total" for armour because google is as much use as a chocolate fire-guard, Most of my old armor had 91 stats (artifice) after ascension and the +3's but i've literally just claimed a random ass T5 chest piece from Zavala that has 100 which im pretty sure aint the highest i can go

I also feel like it's worth explaining that the stat system is largely an improvement. 90% of ideal PvE stat distribution before was Res, Disc, Recov, with some few minor exceptions.

Now stats actually lend themselves to the relevant builds

Granted I wasn't happy to farm new armour but the stat system is actually relevant now

think the new total is (assuming t5 armor, cmiiw) 30 (primary) + 25 (secondary) + 20 (tertiary) + 15 (mw) + 10 (stat mod) + 3 (+1 to non focused stats) = 103 per armor

though most people don't actually use the +3 to non focused stats and instead use the -5 +5 stat option

so focus on raising your power level first

Same as usual? Higher tier/more dots on the side = better, at least for armor. Weapons are fine with a Tier 3 or something. First two stats are deterministic by archetype, last is random of the remaining four. Generally, up to 100 in a stat affects regeneration, 100+ affects how much damage it does. Health is not useful in pve but very useful in pvp.

Hunters are the rogues, shooting from afar, dodging in and out, going invisible, and so on. The game lets you make three characters so you can make one of each if you want. Most people do.

It's RNG. No, the game is not bugged for you, or broken, it's simply bad luck.

• Bungie does not publish drop rates.
• We don't know how many estimated runs it will take for a specific item to drop.
• We do not know how much drop-rate-boosting triumphs contribute either, since we don't know the base drop rate.
• Runs are all separate environments. A 1/3 chance does not mean you get the loot you want one out of three times, it just means there is that percentage of chance whenever you run the activity that you get said loot.
• Perks are not weighted. All weapons drop with their perks at the same rate.

Renegades introduces a new currency called, of course, credits. This is mainly what you use to purchase things that are part of the expansion, like weapons and armor from vendors in the Tharsis social space. However, it is possible to earn a small amount of credits either per day or per week as a free-to-play player, or someone who does not own Renegades, by picking up small piles of credits that spawn on the floor of the Tharsis social space.

They are not included in Master Rahool's Novel Decryption but you can purchase more copies from him after getting at least one.

This makes the three armors, plus a set of legendary armor and legendary weapons, available to those without the expansion, but it is definitely a long grind to get all of them.

With the expansion, you have much easier methods of getting credits and aren't limited at all by how many piles spawn per day/per week there.

Why is X not dropping?
It's RNG. No, the game is not bugged for you, or broken, it's simply bad luck.

• Bungie does not publish drop rates.
• We don't know how many estimated runs it will take for a specific item to drop.
• We do not know how much drop-rate-boosting triumphs contribute either, since we don't know the base drop rate.
• Runs are all separate environments. A 1/3 chance does not mean you get the loot you want one out of three times, it just means there is that percentage of chance whenever you run the activity that you get said loot.
• Perks are not weighted. All weapons drop with their perks at the same rate.

Only times ive been able to acsess the social hub was launching there from the quest menu but the current quest im on wants me to do jobs but i have no idea how to get there

Via the Portal. I very highly recommend against using the Quest menu to launch activities, it's literally never a requirement and sometimes flat out impossible or outdated content cannot be launched via it.

As a general overview: Warlocks are a sort of mage analog. They've got lots of little friends they can make, classic healing/damage circle, beams of energy, etc. Titans are your archetypal tank class, tanking damage with shields or punching things real hard or creating safe zones. Hunters are the rogues, shooting from afar, dodging in and out, going invisible, throwing knives, and so on. They're not wholly exclusive, Hunters have a strong punch build and can tank damage too, for example, but they tend to stay in their own lanes, so to speak.
