They all have different methods. Guardian Games has one, along with the rest of the annual events, that you can get from Eva Levante. If you find it in her menus, it should tell you what you need to do to get it.

Trials comes from flawless runs to the Lighthouse, meaning seven wins, probably in a row. It is also random on top of that.

Gambit and Vanguard I’m unsure of given the changes to the portal but they could be random drops from Gambit and Grandmaster Vanguard Alerts.

Raids are random drops from full clears. Salvation’s Edge, Vault of Glass, and Garden of Salvation have one each, the rest do not to my knowledge.

Iron Banner is a random drop from Iron Banner.

Hey guys, I'm a returning player to the game and I've just got a few questions regarding buildcrafting.

1. Well, I guess this one is a vague question but, (if there is one,) what's the main way of increasing your damage output? I don't know if there's anything I'm missing in regards to that, I haven't found anything that directly increases your damage.

2. Since I'm a titan, I'm wondering how to increase my survivability, using mods or fragments or aspects, if anyone here knows a lot about titan, that'd be awesome!

3. When trying to make a build, is there any good way to figure out the exotic armor piece that would have good synergy with what you're trying to do?

Well, for the first question, there are very, very, very many things that directly increase damage, in the form of subclass buffs, debuffs, weapon perks, armour perks, artefact mods, and more.
Some examples are Solar's Radiant weapon buff, Void's Weaken debuff, and there's about a billion weapon perks in a list far too long to actually... list.

Survivability kind of depends on the subclass you're running. A Sentinel can invest into Overshields and Devour, for example, but a Sunbreaker would be looking at totally different effects.

As for armour, a fair amount of it does come down to reading, browsing, and game knowledge. Exotic armour is typically the core of most builds, however, so finding an armour piece and working from there is an effective start.
To rephrase that, you find an Exotic armour piece, read the effect, and consider which ways you can best invest into that effect.
If it's melee focused, look for your best or most relevant damage melees, maybe grab a Shotgun with One-Two Punch, a perk increasing melee damage. Stuff like that.

so I'm running the Hallowfire Heart and trying to build a solar titan around that. There's just a ton of different mods, aspects, and fragments to build around, it's very overwhelming as a new player. Do you have any tips for building a solar titan, or are there any better options for this type of build?

For specifics, you might be interested in browsing #titans-foundry or #1135936155527946280, but the very baseline for Hallowfire is using Solar weapons to help get Solar kills, and focus on Sunspots. Your first Aspect is basically chosen for you, Sol Invictus, so you can actually make Sunspots in the first place.

Sol Invictus has a strong synergy with Scorch, as Scorched enemies create more Sunspots, so finding ways to apply that is very strong too. Sunshot, for example, is a reliable ad-clearing Exotic Primary to run. Its explosions apply Scorch.

Hallowfire is all about getting more ability energy, so you can also think about that more, too.
Ember of Torches for free Radiant on melee hit, and Radiant is more weapon damage, for example.

I'm no Titan main, so my advice is a bit general, but that's where #titans-foundry may help more.

hallowfire isnt recommended btw, solar titan's melee is instantly refundable just from picking it up

also you already create sunspots on ability kills and killing scorched targets (scorch is a solar verb that does damage over time, kinda like youve set them on fire)
and the ability regen only works if your super is fully charged, which you dont really want to be holding onto

You’re gonna want to pre charge it then you do light light heavy

Then you need to learn how to switch off it before it runs out of the charged mode because you’ll get like half the bar back or more

You basically want it to be in its charged mode that leaves the tornados as much as possible
