Thanks. Well there's quite a few things that I find convoluted. Like, I'm somehow Guardian level 6 even though I haven't completed all steps in level 3,4 and 5.

Also, I own all DLCs up to Final Shape. How do I improve my average gear/light level? I'm 310 now, doing portal activities, doing campaign quests, but I'm getting very very marginal gear upgrades, and even some gear that's actually lower. Same with Guardian games activities.

Your best option for leveling is doing stuff in the portal with a small green engram symbol on the activity card. Power also does not really matter for campaigns. For stuff lower than 300, everything got reset down to 10 on July 15, 2025, but now everything since like December drops at 300 minimum.

For Guardian Ranks, I'm honestly not sure. You keep every rank you earn above Rank 5 for one season if you don't keep it up, so you can get up to Rank 11, not play for a whole season, and then come back and still be at Rank 11. But everyone was reset to minimum of Rank 3 on July 15.

Got it, so the activities with the green symbol are the ones that give higher gear. As for the ranks, I only know that I’m at the same level I was when Witch queen was current, cause that’s when I last played.

Sorry about that, uh. It's not that they give higher power gear, but that they give you more gear in general which means more chances for them to be higher, if I'm remembering right. They've changed it a lot since they implemented it.

As for Guardian Ranks, yeah, that sounds plausible, like it technically set you back to GR3 but also it didn't take away the number for GR6? Unsure but that's my theory. Guardian Ranks are mostly a cosmetic thing aside from I think Rank 6 which is the last one that gives you something for completing the challenges. The rest of the Ranks are more like optional challenges for you to do when you feel like you've got nothing else to do.

Can someone clear this up for me? I was under the impression any legendary gear you obtain will now show up as a transmog option to unlock with the synth weave stuff....I'm not starting to notice after dismantling some things that they aren't showing up that way.....

also the appearance of armor you're already wearing won't show up in the transmog menu as long as you're wearing it

Well I always run double special and then swap to double rocket pulse for DPS loadout

On getaway you can honestly just stay on that for DPS unless you want to swap to matio or SES class item
