it pretty much comes with experience, knowing what exotics are good in the current sandbox and also using it with stuff that synergizes, while not wasting perk slots on stuff your build already provides
its worth noting that popular does NOT equal good. a great example of that would be Strongholds or Dawn Chorus. and that synergy doesnt mean its good

if you wanted to make a solar support warlock build
Ember of Benevolence activates on giving teammates buffs, like Cure or Restoration (healing rift also activates this). so youd use No Hesitation to heal from range to keep the ability regen Benevolence gives 24/7

I’d say for right now if you get renegades a fairly solid and simple build would be fortunes favor with lightsaber or something. In most cases id use a running loadout with class item or RDM’s for hunter, then your DPS swap options are going to be nighthawk/lucky pants. Hunter you’ll pretty much only use tether or golden gun, then there’s a little flexibility in the aspects. Ascension is like a lock but you could swap around between the second. For fragments on prismatic, there’s pretty much a few great ones and the rest are meh. I’d just read over them and chose ones that’ll compliment the build. Courage, dawn, protection, etc. are all pretty regularly used.

Previously, it was easy to see/conceptualize when a season would end based upon the season pass. Now that there is two of them per season, it is easier to base it off of the Artifact. If the artifact changes, it's a new season. If it doesn't change, it's the same season.

Well, there's not much point, since you can just Vault it. And armour has random stats, so that's worth considering. But, yes, you can recreate it via your Collections menu.

Well, firstly, campaign missions have checkpoints. Secondly, your Power shouldn't matter in an older campaign.
You can Infuse it if you want, and recreate it later, but it won't really change your situation much.

as you get higher power it gets significantly easier to score within your reward tier and then you move up one again and need to use modifiers again

your light level is irrelevant for older content

upping it would do literally nothing

mouse over your power and look at the legacy power if that's still something they show

edge of fate came with a power reset so even 10 power is considered well above the max power of pre-eof
