you can only have one turret out at a time. The big circle light is you telling the turret where it should prioritize.

Power is essentially just the key to the lock that is endgame. Actual endgame is things like Raids, Dungeons, Trials, and other high difficulty activities.
The real endgame is effective buildcrafting with the many Exotics, weapons, class fragments and aspects, and subclasses.
The really real endgame is fashion. Naturally.

the second to last encounter in particular would probably be a hard wall

For armor it dictates the stat cap/range. For weapons it correlates to the number of available perks, and what features of the weapon are their enhanced version

T5 is the highest tier, but it's worth noting that something being T5 just means it's the best possible version of the specific roll you got. It doesn't inherently mean that it's good. A T5 version of a bad stat distribution on armor is still bad. A T5 weapon can still roll with the weapon's worst perks.

So basically using them now you’re getting a 58-63 stat exotic with possibility of 29 instead of 30 in primary stat and 18-20 in second stat then a random third stat of 10-13. If you wait and use them post major update, you’d guarantee a 30 primary, 25 secondary, and 20 in third stat. Also a random +5 tuning stat.

You get one Priority Contract each day, dependent on the syndicate you aligned with. After you complete one, you cannot change syndicate for the rest of the day. To change factions, find the banner in respective syndicate section of the cantina. I don't know if you could change Priority Contracts by changing syndicates before completing it, but that would probably be the only way of changing it.

The only requirements, to my knowledge, are that you need to own Edge of Fate and get the random mote event during the activity. It is guaranteed from that event.

You might not even need to own Edge of Fate, but I'm unable to test that
