It's RNG. No, the game is not bugged for you, or broken, it's simply bad luck.

• Bungie does not publish drop rates.
• We don't know how many estimated runs it will take for a specific item to drop.
• We do not know how much drop-rate-boosting triumphs contribute either, since we don't know the base drop rate.
• Runs are all separate environments. A 1/3 chance does not mean you get the loot you want one out of three times, it just means there is that percentage of chance whenever you run the activity that you get said loot.
• Perks are not weighted. All weapons drop with their perks at the same rate.

They're bugged at the moment unless you want to do some skipping. You follow the quest given to you by the Evidence Board on the Enclave destination in the Throne World. Should be called REPORT: Reverse-Lure or something. Eventually you're reach a mission with a giant shrieker that's bugged and can't be killed. Once you reach that, you're stuck until Bungie fixes it or you go around outside the map on the left by skating or grappling.

On the bright side, you only need to do the quest once. The board will just give you the other two on the respective characters afterward

High Impacts have the capability to 2-tap if you're accurate in your bursts, and have the longest range.

i had a similar situation a few months ago, coming from warlock going to titan, so in my experience:
strafe lift for normal pve use, feels most warlock-ish,
-# catapult lift if you wanna do whats known as titan skating which wants you to ideally bind jump to mousewheel etc, didnt really bother w this so i stuck w strafe

main difference is that as titan, if you cancel your lift and do it again like you would do on warlock, you lose a lot of lift time and will just fall down, so you want to wait with your initial lift bc unlike warlocks glide, titan gains a decent bit of height even when when lift is triggered mid air.
also if you drop down, lift won't cancel all your downwards momentum immediately, so you need to start cancelling way ahead of time

how do you mean? if a weapon has tiers it has those crystals on the item card. or are you just looking at ones online? light gg should tell you if theres tiered versions.

the weapon icon on light gg will have a blueish ribbon in the top left, which means new gear, which in terms of legendary weapons means all legendary weapons w tiers atm

the more annoying part is spotting if its an EoF or Renegades weapon, because the former are very hard to obtain right now, and impossible to really farm

I think it's important to note that Titan might not always be the best option. This also goes for the other two classes as well. The game isn't changing too often anymore because Bungie changed the larger system of expansions, but it still changes quite a bit. Titan might drammatically fall off when Shadow & Order launches on March 3rd and the current Artifact goes away or it could be even better with more changes and a more beneficial Artifact. We don't really know. But until then it's one of the better options.

Hunters will also be 2nd in terms of a good class to start with too.

Only 3 are visible at once. You can switch which one is available by talking to a glowing bird near the entrance of the mission. If the bird is not there, or less than 3 are visibile at once, you haven't finished all the Alone in the Dark quests from Micah-10

If you're talking in terms of Power progression, no. As far as loot, a few of them still have some solid weapons, but all of the armor is 2.0 so it's hard for them to fit into the spikier builds we can make as of Edge of Fate.

That being said, even the newest Raid and Dungeon aren't anywhere near as effective at helping your Power progression as just grinding your face off in Portal and/or Lawless Frontiers.
