Destiny 2 is way more ability focused these days so weapons only matter insofar as they synergize with the rest of the build, and you typically don't need to perfectly match the ideal stats of a build. If you can get a similar distribution, even if at a lower overall count, you'll get a similar effect.

The easiest loadout for that boss that’s safe is using praxic blade, choice of energy weapon, and an LMG with prismatic buddy build on song of flame. Compel 4 kill 1, have a DPS loadout swap with triple kinetic surge triple grenade font (increases helion and getaway turret). When DPS starts pop prismatic, throw grenade, pop song of flame, then light light light heavy with PB during the entire DPS phase. When he does tickle fingers switch to LMG to shoot them. Should be a comfortable 2 phase and you’ll hit damage threshold.

Portal is super simple you just pick what you want to play then play it. That’s where you’ll grind power. I’d recommend watching some YouTube videos on it if stuff confuses you so you can ask more specific questions in here if anything needs clarified 🫡
