Hey folks, I am being on the fence about getting into destiny, so I thought I d come here, tell u what I am and what I know about the game and u tell me if I should try it
So, what I know about the game

1. Long time ago I tried base free version of destiny 2, I loved the mechanics, the visuals, absolutely loved the gunplay, but was quite confused with what to do cause anywhere I d tried to go would tell me nuh-uh, u need to buy this and that, I was told that there is basically nothing to do unless u get the dlcs, I wasnt invested enough to actually figure out what I should buy and just left
2. Through the years all I heard is headlines how this failed, this sucks, game bad, new update got 8 bungillion negative reviews yada yada yada
3. Recently watched some vids about the game and thought damn it, gunplay still looks fun, maybe I should try it
4. I have zero knowledge about current state of the game, what dlcs are relevant etc

What kind of player I am:

1. I dont give a flying fuck about lore, I don't mind if there is any but I really dont care if its good or bad, all I want is gameplay
2. I don't like playing with other people, whether its coop or pvp, I am just better off alone, I dont mind being in some clan or whatever defacto, but I d prefer to avoid any form of teamplay if possible, so as pvp
3. I dont have a problem with buying dlcs, season passes, whatever the hell, if I like the gameplay - u can suck me dry
4. I really, REALLY like games where you just sit and look at numbers, oh, this thing makes me deal 0.03% more damage but I lose 0.02% of survivability is my type of shit

Keep in mind you can also bind both charged and uncharged to the same key and it'll work like the default "auto melee" functionality except prioritize the charged melee even at point-blank range

Why is X not dropping?
It's RNG. No, the game is not bugged for you, or broken, it's simply bad luck.

• Bungie does not publish drop rates.
• We don't know how many estimated runs it will take for a specific item to drop.
• We do not know how much drop-rate-boosting triumphs contribute either, since we don't know the base drop rate.
• Runs are all separate environments. A 1/3 chance does not mean you get the loot you want one out of three times, it just means there is that percentage of chance whenever you run the activity that you get said loot.
• Perks are not weighted. All weapons drop with their perks at the same rate.
