the quest would auto-complete at the end of that run

your issue is that you are missing worms you need to progress, that's it

the counter on the quest steps just looks at the total number of worms you found and not which ones

if you do a run with somebody that has the quest done you can just grab everything in one run

and be done with it

nothing is broken, you're just missing shit and confusing it by having stuff the quest thinks you shouldn't have yet

It's RNG. No, the game is not bugged for you, or broken, it's simply bad luck.

• Bungie does not publish drop rates.
• We don't know how many estimated runs it will take for a specific item to drop.
• We do not know how much drop-rate-boosting triumphs contribute either, since we don't know the base drop rate.
• Runs are all separate environments. A 1/3 chance does not mean you get the loot you want one out of three times, it just means there is that percentage of chance whenever you run the activity that you get said loot.
• Perks are not weighted. All weapons drop with their perks at the same rate.
