It's the fastest contest mode clear (though there's only been 3 of those) by like 3 or 4 hours. Partly due to some leaks that happened of the layout and mechanics, but also it doesn't seem especially hard.

The first encounter is extremely easy solo, and I got about halfway through 2nd solo before I had to stop to eat.

I'd recommend reading what the modifier says but from what you said you're not really swapping anything besides armor mods, so unless you're also swapping stat mods I think you should be safe

There aren't really any great heavy darkness exotics. Your best bet for an exotic heavy would be Microcosm. For Kinetic, New Malpais, Barrow Dyad, and Quicksilver storm are all solid options.

It's the best in slot peacekeeper smg and is a very good primary but it's probably worse than multimach or peculiar charm for general use

As a heat weapon it innately is just better than normal primaries but it's lacking any very good splash perks

Sorry i didnt see this, but the mechanics for this dungeon is that those engrams you pick up are used to fill up the crystals. theres a crystal in that cave, and you are filling it up by standing near it after having picked up the engrams. just kill them from outside of the cave and you should be good

hey guys i just had an interesting question for all of you, my fireteam has been in the new dungeon for like 6 hours and we legit just cannot do enough damage for first boss, despite using exact copy and pasted loadouts from the youtubers and streamers.
The worst part is when I'm watching them do this first boss I'm seeing their mint retrograde do 196 dmg/individual rocket while my fireteam cant seem to even hit 100/hit and it gets even worse when it comes to things like

the lightsabers
literally anything else

we have tried literally every possible buff and we just cant seem to hit for anywhere near as much damage as the streamers are

this is real! just looked at my footage, and you get around 33s of DPS normally, but 41s if you do this extend. You get a unique text if you pull it off. ALSO, I think you need at least two people to hit him per hole to get it done, but I'm not 100% on that.
