The entire point of nothing manacles is it gives you chaos accelerant benefits without charging the nade

That includes the buffs they did to the charged scatter here

handheld supernova - 5895
charged vortex (echo of remnants) - 3923
charged axion bolt - 2870 damage per enemy
charged scatter - 4909 damage

In actual testing

And iirc the scatter had two or three seekers miss the enemy entirely

Comparing just the base damage values a charged scatter does 12 x 231 = 2775 dmg and handheld does 9x375 = 3375 damage

They're pretty damn close considering nothing manacles lets you throw two of them in the time it takes to charge one supernova

If you have literally any constant grenade energy source you will throw more scatters in a given time window which is also more damage

Especially in grenadier content which is relevant again

I was arguing for nothing manacles being good because the perk description makes it sound a lot worse than it is yes

It has a way less clunky gameplay pattern and scatters are plenty good regardless

Scatters are getting another buff soon that will let them spawn more seekers when killing adds which should let them easily chain kill crowds as well

and even after the update hhsn will most likely still just be better because it does so much more damage to a single target and its aoe is fairly wide

When you look at actual swap dps manacles scatters are better than handheld since they take like half the time to throw and do 83% the damage

As far as swap dps goes they are the highest value nade that isn't a lingering nade that takes 10 seconds to work

The only better ones are going to be using something like verity or are sunbracers

in the pale heart's hub, the lost city, you can attune a specific perk to have a higher drop chance for a class item, for example, i can attune synthos which will then increase the chance that a class item will drop with synthos (its a fairly high increase)

in regards to how exotic class items work, they can roll with two exotic perks from a curated loot pool, each exotic perk is a slightly weaker or exact version of the exotic perk
