Why is X not dropping?
It's RNG. No, the game is not bugged for you, or broken, it's simply bad luck.

• Bungie does not publish drop rates.
• We don't know how many estimated runs it will take for a specific item to drop.
• We do not know how much drop-rate-boosting triumphs contribute either, since we don't know the base drop rate.
• Runs are all separate environments. A 1/3 chance does not mean you get the loot you want one out of three times, it just means there is that percentage of chance whenever you run the activity that you get said loot.
• Perks are not weighted. All weapons drop with their perks at the same rate.

There’s a public event on Neptune that gives new exotics (pre-edge of fate), but it’s very difficult to find it. I forget what it’s called though.

You can also do old nightfalls which I believe give exotics still, not sure about new ones though.

Exotic weapons have to be purchased at the kiosk unfortunately.

people are acting like it's super overpowered but it's only relevant on titan because koregos is an 80 second damage phase and titan runs out of ammo at like 60s in the best case

BUT

only the impacts from the grenade/melee.
the ignition damage is not buffed (anymore)
so its to a reduced effect, you dont get a perfect +70% damage

however its worth noting that the ignition sourced from the grenade will do more because yeah™ so throw the grenade first then use the melee to ignite

My setup is rather simpler. I run on prismatic, with the stasis turret, unravel, and helion. I pair this with the perfect paradox and tractor. I have managed to do 58k get damage out of the 1st grasp of avaris boss.

And on the non-prismatic setup i usually get around 40k damage

dp is Desert Perpetual, the most recently released raid

red borders are weapons that have deep sight, they appear with a red border in your inventory hence the name. they're 1/5 the unlock to craft a weapon with whatever perks you want on them. however they're only in "legacy" raids and content, and are not tiered. most raids offer the ability to do some extra things through the raid to guarantee a red border up on completion, or they can also drop randomly

For gun catalyst can you only use it one time per gun? Like if I have an exotic but not godroll and use the catalyst will it also be applied to the god roll version once I get it?
