You do have to consider the enemy type since you can't compare primaries by one flat number

Pulses have weird enemy modifiers that leave them performing really poorly on orange bars

Tldr though is pulses have a way higher minor scalar than autos and a similar elite scalar, yet autos and pulses perform similarly on red bars

So the performance on elites is a lot worse

I think it has been like that since forsaken

Pulses used to just suck in pve because they kept gutting scouts and pulses due to their range

Gives you woven mail when you suspend enemies and doesn't nerf your dodge cooldown now

Can pair that with devils ruin

Devils ruin is bugged to ignite suspended enemies with the normal fire mode

And there you have one funny build

Or just grapple punch on prismatic because that shits overpowered

Atm if you want all of the content available as DLC on stores, you will need the Legacy Collection (all DLCs up to Edge of Fate), and Edge of Fate

There is currently a bundle on GreenManGaming with all the DLCs (including Edge of Fate) for 35 dollars, if you want the absolutely most direct route

Sounds kinda self-defeating in a way, they wanted the grind to be more "engaging" yet since they underestimated the amount of "grindable" content so that went out the window by giving away higher power gear

And the expectation that people don't hit 450 until like mid ash and iron

That would've probably been okay but then they tied gear tiers to power

And if players aren't getting the absolute best version of something they don't want it

So now people feel they have to get to 450 for tier 5s to even want to farm rolls

8 perks per column so you're gambling for a 1/64 without attunement to get the specific roll you want

Attunement lets you select one perk of the 16 and makes that one a 1/2 to roll instead of a 1/8 which makes a desired roll a 1/16 instead

Why is X not dropping?
It's RNG. No, the game is not bugged for you, or broken, it's simply bad luck.

• Bungie does not publish drop rates.
• We don't know how many estimated runs it will take for a specific item to drop.
• We do not know how much drop-rate-boosting triumphs contribute either, since we don't know the base drop rate.
• Runs are all separate environments. A 1/3 chance does not mean you get the loot you want one out of three times, it just means there is that percentage of chance whenever you run the activity that you get said loot.
• Perks are not weighted. All weapons drop with their perks at the same rate.
