No raid in this game should take over 2 hours. You get what you put in. If you want your raids to be effortless and a good experience, learn the raid, practice it, find a team of good players to play it with, and you’ll be rewarded. arc titan is "meta" as far as raiding goes because of storms keep providing such sheer value in dps scenarios
prismatic titan gets consecration which is extremely powerful in ad clear scenarios and stuff like conquests (gms)
it's really preference on if you want nuts ad clear or really powerful boss dps steroid for the team
arc titan shouldn't have survivability issues really, storms keep + knockout w/ thunderclap is really crazy

there's not really incentive for people to run it rn and the matchmaking also seems to not work for some people
if you have a fireteam of like 4 people it'll load you in after a few minutes without filling the team iirc and it's not very hard since it scales down
so you might have some luck trying to lfg it in one of the more active lfg servers

to my knowledge cross save is not connected to fireteam invites or multiplayer at all anymore and everything is pc/steam-centric anyway so as long as you're giving them your bungie id and your privacy settings allow multiplayer it should work
