I'm using ergo sum on a prismatic build and I'm having a bit of an issue with finding a proper weapon for primary use I like hand cannons and scout rifles but the only real choice for a handcannon I've seen is fatebringer due to being craftable and for scout rifles timeworn wayfarer for its ease of use and the incandescent perk proccing the scorch thing on the seasonal artifact

4th column is always Cold Steel
3rd can be Sharp Harvest for special ammo, Flash Counter for general neutral, or Rimestealer if you have easy access to crystals for damage resistance

You can go for Whirlwind or Elemental Honing in the 4th if you really need sword damage but there’s better swords for that

the new system, the portal, drops armor in "tiers", which will have a class with a main stat, a secondary stat, and a random third stat, the class an armor has is not defined by armor type
higher tiers means higher base stats
portal armor will also have armor set bonuses

you did jump into early endgame which is harder content, in general i recommend you farm portal activities for power and guardian ranks
