Hefnd's Vengeance and Gahlran are both very fast easy runs but they are way slower and harder solo which kinda ruins them

Whisper readded the halfway chest if you can confidently burst the bosses down

If you're solo and bad just play reclaim

Reclaim has one static difficulty regardless of your power and is matchmade, now that it has modifiers in the matchmaking runs go extremely fast

Because they gave it boons

And that's 3 drops

Hefnd's Vengeance is probably the optimal strategy but only if you have a group

Prime drops give +3 power and is a ~8% chance at dropping on any activity completion.

Zalava offers Weekly: Vanguard Arms Rewards and Focused Decoding Option.
Ikora offers me New Light Kits, Grow Your Light (Void) and the Timeline Reflection Quest.

However chatting to both hasn't advanced the New Light quest, or ticked off the "Arrived at the Tower" Step.

I've tried this with multiple new characters and the mission stalls at the same point. New install on Steam and verified the game files as well.

I think the only option is to skip the entire tutorial at the ship in the Cosmodrome, but that defeats the purpose.

Riskrunner is only good if enemies do arc damage you shouldn't rely on self proc

Riskrunner is the best SMG on paper but the most commonly run one for that setup is Antedate from the newest raid

Alternatives are yeartide apex, manticore, mirror imago, tarrabah

Basically anything 900rpm with a strong consistent damage buff

The game is quite open ended, you can kind of just do whatever you want. But at the same time, a lot of options will just throw you into the ground repeatedly before you get a foothold in them. I would recommend starting with the campaigns first. If you'd rather have something more concrete to follow, you can open up your menus to find the "Quest" tab at the top and choose one at random to follow, though I don't recommend anything that has "Dungeon" in it to start with. Beyond that, in your character menu, under the "Journey" tab at the top, it should have something called "Guardian Ranks" as yet more things to go do. Or you can just explore the game at random like my partner and just blow shit up because it's fun sometimes.

What is the educated opinion on ACD/0 Feedback Fence for arc titans? I have it but it's not that useful to me, like I need to get hit by a melee for the exotic trait to do it's thing. I was tryna do this with a wyvern and it meleed me into the abyss. Doesn't seem like a very useful exotic, imo.

Melee Kickstart depends a bit on what melee you're doing and how you're using it, since it only activates once the melee energy is 100% depleted. For instance, if you have other things benefiting your melee energy (high Melee stat, invigoration, outreach, etc.) and have a multi-melee ability (arcane needle, frenzied blade, withering blade) you will likely never activate kickstart.

By the time you would expend the final melee charge, you will have gained some energy back, meaning you wouldn't be 100% depleted, and wouldn't trigger the kickstart.

Regardless, if you've got lagging slots that have focused rewards, knock those out first, then grind one of the 3 activities. Re-check the power site regularly as you gain power to see if there are other lagging slots to target

@waxen ibex thanks for the feedback on Mint earlier. Gonna skip this week and save the BD. Plus I also just saw a post from about 50min ago, where the guy said he logged on and none of the Mints had Rewind/BnS. Which was my experience from a few weeks ago as well (at the time, thought I was going crazy when my perks weren’t matching those from YouTube videos). So just a heads up, I think the rolls do rotate. Either daily, or a few times each week.
