So one bit of confusion I had earlier with randoms. I hosted a GM for Gahlran. Their highest level was like 454-456. Mine was 477. I was able to get modifiers up to B+ for me and on their screen it said A. We finished and I got T5 but they only got T4. They said they was getting T5 earlier. What could’ve caused that? I feel bad they went through expecting T5 and only got T4.

Then any place you can farm a lot of low level ads works. Mael mentioned Shuro Chi from Last Wish and the Thrallway in either King’s Fall or Shattered Throne. I mentioned one mission in Lightfall’s campaign that you can continually spawn at a rally flag if you wipe before killing the last enemy (I forget the name of it). But there’s nothing else you can do to make it go faster. You will have to kill your way through 700 enemies

Basically better/more expanded upon crafted weapons. The higher the tier, the more things that are enhanced, including barrel and magazine perks. Also at higher tiers, you get more perks per column, up to three in the two main ones and two in barrel and mag

Armor is where it's a bit more impactful. Tiers effect how much total stats you can earn, with Tier 4 being the earliest you can reach the max stat of 75. But again, that's mostly if you're trying to completely minmax your loadout, the game is still extremely playable with T1 gear

Unfortunately that's a bit tricky. Queues usually die before reaching 12, and FTF can be a bit spotty trying to get all the spots to fill. The most successful I've seen is some clans/twitch communities hosting Excision days where they help people get the clear, but I'm not sure who is still hosting those these days.

I actually disagree with the idea that touch of malice is bad

It's pretty notable in being one of the highest super gen primaries outside of group DPS contexts and also just generally pretty high damage on its own for an exotic primary with zero other investment

It is currently the third highest DPS primary overall that doesn't rely on PKs and one of the ones above it is outbreak if it magically could start at max nanites, the only gun it's truly behind is final warning atm

The downside of it is the self damage and of course the mint retrograde tax

Everyone calls solo ops the mines. Caldera and K1 are the fastest.

Pinnacle ops can be a good option too such as Encore & Starcrossed, as long as you have an eager edge sword. Fireteam & Pinnacle ops it’s recommended to bring a fireteam, otherwise the time it takes to complete isn’t worth the rewards. You should shoot for the activity giving a reward per every 5 minutes invested.

There is a group of players who think the gun feels good to use. One big voice of that group is popular content creator Aztecross, who famously deleted the OG god roll after losing a tournament and has wanted another ever since. A big part of why he liked it was that the S13 version of the gun could roll Rangefinder, which was pretty strong before it was nerfed to the version we have today. The newer S26 version can't roll Rangefinder at all, nor many other good PVP perks, so nostalgic feel is really all it has going for it. You can still get it from Xur (and maybe Banshee), but many would consider it a waste of time to go for.

Xur always has a Strange Engram for sale for 7 Strange Coins. It will drop one random legendary weapon from his massive pool of them. He also has a chance to sell a certain number of them legendaries directly. I don't know what activities can drop Strange Coins myself because I haven't played since they changed their sources.

Yes, playing on consecutive weeks also gives you more because xur gives 1 stack of the buff a week and it goes to 3 stacks
