It's RNG. No, the game is not bugged for you, or broken, it's simply bad luck.

• Bungie does not publish drop rates.
• We don't know how many estimated runs it will take for a specific item to drop.
• We do not know how much drop-rate-boosting triumphs contribute either, since we don't know the base drop rate.
• Runs are all separate environments. A 1/3 chance does not mean you get the loot you want one out of three times, it just means there is that percentage of chance whenever you run the activity that you get said loot.
• Perks are not weighted. All weapons drop with their perks at the same rate.

rewind is absolutely the best perk in 3rd column regardless because it means you never ever have to reload the gun, and chain helps it out a lot as an adclear utility pairing alongside choir

I think they were saying that chain specifically makes it not a god roll, since ideally one would be using something else to add clear and keep Mint exclusively for DPS.

I disagree with that, especially when you just get both options and don't have to choose.
