If you mean how you get Gifted Conviction from an Exotic Engram, use Novel Decryption at Rahool. If you mean how to get Exotic Engrams in general, RNG throughout the game or fame expert lost sectors (which is still RNG but better odds and farmable)

Go talk to Xur at the tower bazaar, Xur sells an exotic engram. Buy the the engram and take it to the cryptarch, decrypt the exotic you are looking for. This will require a cipher which Xur also sells.

The only way to increase it is with strange favor, spend (47) to buy strange favor at Xur. You can stack favor up to 5x, but you must refresh it weekly or it resets to 1.

Travel to the Tower quest is a new one to me and might be worth making a bug report to Bungie about. So many things have been broken since the update on Sept 9 that it's honestly hard to keep track of all of them :/

If it is Enlightened Action, then Outlaw is "better" as far as raw reload goes - granting 70 Reload with a 0.9 Multiplier. Max stacks of Enlightened Action, to compare, is 50 Reload (and Handling).

But, Outlaw needs a kill, and is thus less reliable.

Hello, I just came back to destiny after over a year. A bit after witch queen came out. It looks like I need enchantment cores to strengthen my exotic weapons. Should I wait untill I am higher power to start leveling them? I only get +10 from one core atm and I only have 1 left so I dont feel like its a good investment

Also, I want to get eriana vow, should I wait till im higher power so I wont have to upgrade it as much?

cores, and by extension levels, are incredibly common nowadays and drop from almost everything

just keep playing the game and you'll outgain the spending

that said just buy the erianas now and upgrade now since running out shouldn't be a big issue

enhancement cores mean nothing

but power also means nothing outside of the portal too

drops consider the highest power item in your inventory across all your characters and vault

so you dont have to scramble to infuse

any pre-edge of fate content for the most part has power disabled at this point as 10 power in edge of fate is the same as the max power before the expansion afaik

also exotic weapons can be pulled out of collections at close to your current power up to 200

as far as cores i've been dropping hundreds on legacy focusing and still net positive over time on them

by something like a 6x damage margin

sword bug already allows you to solo kill crota damage phase in like 5 seconds with no buffs though

ignoring the exploits i think every class has some pretty broken shit

their reworks to the melee/grenade/super stats enabled some freaky ability spam builds
