It'll vary a bit on the activity but make sure you're checking higher difficulties. The modifier options increase with each difficulty

When you customize the modifiers. It tells you what category the modifier is. So look for one of the challenge modifiers that’s labeled “faction modifier” and one labeled “difficult threat”

Anything with a forced health spike is basically dead in pve but desirable in pvp, otherwise a mix of archetypes can help fit stuff

Honestly if the armor isn't a limited time set bonus I just wouldn't worry much about hoarding it if you're able to easily get t5s

Kepler's tier upgrades shouldn't reset with renegades so if you ever need different stats it's pretty easy to farm t5 pieces from kepler

Instead of trying to hoard armor based on archetype I would use something like d2edgestats and put together a couple stat spreads and see if you can do it out of what you have

Why is X not dropping?
It's RNG. No, the game is not bugged for you, or broken, it's simply bad luck.

• Bungie does not publish drop rates.
• We don't know how many estimated runs it will take for a specific item to drop.
• We do not know how much drop-rate-boosting triumphs contribute either, since we don't know the base drop rate.
• Runs are all separate environments. A 1/3 chance does not mean you get the loot you want one out of three times, it just means there is that percentage of chance whenever you run the activity that you get said loot.
• Perks are not weighted. All weapons drop with their perks at the same rate.
