Don't go directly into the area since the psions will target you with the lasers. Hang out in the valley until you kill the first tank. Then go and kill the second. If your tank dies, burn everything finishing off the tanks since the tank spawns will activate when they're dead and you can get back into a new one

Ok, so you don't need to worry about having your highest Power gear equipped except for:

• Power enabled activities that are significantly higher Power than you
• Portal Ops (since equipped Power is still a factor for score multiplier)

That said, you've had the character for a day. 100 power in a day isn't crazy

Yes. 200 is the soft cap, at which point your only way to get higher Power is from grinding Portal Ops. 200-400 (500 starting the 9th) is the Portal grind. 400-450 (500-550 starting the 9th) is the Prime grind, where only RNG prime engrams help

It also comes down to what your goals are. If your goal is Power, then you may as well start the Portal grind now. If your goal is literally anything else, then focus on that first and the Power will happen passively unless you accidentally dismantle highest-in-slot gear.

70k total damage and about 1900 dps with it and a B&S Mint Retrograde, cutoff point for the rotation is when Mint runs out of ammo
