Not really. Up to I believe level 17 is when you'll unlock the extra perks like barrels, magazines and stocks and level 20 you'll get a small stat bonus iirc. After that though it's just vanity.

It's RNG. No, the game is not bugged for you, or broken, it's simply bad luck.

• Bungie does not publish drop rates.
• We don't know how many estimated runs it will take for a specific item to drop.
• We do not know how much drop-rate-boosting triumphs contribute either, since we don't know the base drop rate.
• Runs are all separate environments. A 1/3 chance does not mean you get the loot you want one out of three times, it just means there is that percentage of chance whenever you run the activity that you get said loot.
• Perks are not weighted. All weapons drop with their perks at the same rate.

Good depends on your goals. If your goal is to have a spammable Deadfalll, Orpheus Rigs does the same thing (potentially better) for way less effort using the same Exotic slot. If your goal is to just have a spammable super with Speedloaders specifically, you should do it with something more beneficial to spam like GG.

My issue with Orpheus Rig was it relies on hitting multiple targets for the refund so the returns are inconsistent.

Found myself "waiting" for the right moment, otherwise you only get a few % of super energy back

With Speedloaders I could shoot a boss in the face with it and have it back in seconds regardless of if there are adds or not

At that point, what benefit are you gaining? Your DPS is limited to an alt DPS special and your melee to get a 30% debuff on the boss, which you can achieve that same outcome by just using Tractor Cannon.

If you're getting A rank rewards, then going for the bonus doesn't really matter. But a lot of people aim for that B+ sweet spot between difficulty and reward, and doing the Bonus will often push them into A reward territory.

It's RNG. No, the game is not bugged for you, or broken, it's simply bad luck.

• Bungie does not publish drop rates.
• We don't know how many estimated runs it will take for a specific item to drop.
• We do not know how much drop-rate-boosting triumphs contribute either, since we don't know the base drop rate.
• Runs are all separate environments. A 1/3 chance does not mean you get the loot you want one out of three times, it just means there is that percentage of chance whenever you run the activity that you get said loot.

Necrochasm from CE is a pretty good add clear auto, but I wouldn't go for it unless you love farming / torturing yourself.

Vex Mythoclast from VoG was seeing play last season thanks to the artifact, and has potential to still be good, but there was a bug that came with EoF that effected it. Not sure if that's been fixed yet

The Navigator from GotD is very meta right now with the Hunter Grapple Ascension build, or anytime grapple is meta.

Buried Bloodline from WR is essentially a rocket sidearm and gives easy access to Devour to classes that normally wouldn't have that.

Finality's Auger from SD has some very nice synergy with Envious Arsenal and a neat tech at Atheon that lets a solo Verity Warlock spam nades.

Ice Breaker from VH has some really good synergy with any builds that make lots of Ice

Hierarchy of Needs from Spire got reworked and seems to have some interesting potential with Opaque Hourglass, though nothing meta yet.

I didn't mention the quest ones, but Wish-Ender has some tech during CE's Ir Yut that lets you see the Wizards quickly if you don't know other tricks. It's also decent to break the shoulders of RoN's Nezarec

1k was specifically good during Rite of the Nine for the Ultimatum version of Spire against the final boss thanks to Particle Reconstruction in the artifact, which let you stunlock the boss and make that part of the fight much safer and consistent.

Since they removed featured raids and dungeons, none of the Exotics are farmable. You can attempt them once per character per week.

The Legendary weapons and armor are farmable from both raids and dungeons. I believe this includes red borders from raids.

Spoils of Conquest are only farmable from the most recent raid, or you can claim 5 per secret chest per character per week.

It seems likely that they removed the weekly featured raid/dungeon for an eventual move to the Portal (like they're doing with the Exotic missions), and this is just a temporary solution until they're ready. It could also be a data-driven result where they noticed more week-to-week engagement by limiting the Exotics. Regardless of speculation of their decision, this is the system we have to work with.

For full clarity, the quest took place mainly in three seasonal areas; Eris' Apartment in the Last City (a seasonal hub area), the Nether (an Episode Heresy activity), and the Court of Blades (a different Episode Heresy activity). Seeing as they're adding past seasonal activities to the Portal, there is a chance they will re-add the Nether and the Court of Blades. If they do, the Umbral Rumble shader is still unlikely to return since the actual puzzle part of the quest was accessed through a puzzle in Eris apartment, which is unlikely to return.
