Go into VoG and get yourself a Hezen Vengeance with decent perks. Then go grab a decent sword, anything with relentless strikes/whirlwind blade will do. Go get Outbreak Perfected and it's catalysts when Zero Hour is in rotation, same with Whisper of the Worm. Get a Tractor Cannon from random exotic drops. Congratulations, you are now ready to do the newest raid.

From the newest raid, try to get the new crossbow with explosive bolts and vorpal weapon. Put the temporal blast mod on the weapon and you'll be doing so much damage.

I would consider trying your builds in a dungeon if there are only 2 of you.

dungeons are basically lite-raids and are balanced around having 1-3 people, whereas raids are balanced around having 6. Will be a much more suitable test for 2 people

try out double special, especially mint, and try out coldheart as your energy/ "primary" weapon, just run an arc scav to keep it fed, and ofc ammo mods on your helmet and chest. and a special finisher on you class item to help keep it fed

i like just got back into the game and didnt realise there were levels to destiny

on your boots there are elemental scavenger mods, its the element (arc in this case) with an arrow pointing down. you get more ammo for that element of weapon when you pick up ammo

on your class item, theres a yellow skull with the speical ammo symbol on it (two bullets in a box) and 3 arrows below it. if you have 3 armor charges when you finish an enemy, it can make speical ammo for you

Ok, so then your only hope would be to try to launch the game on PC via the Xbox Store. If you can do that, that should cause the Silver to show up for your Xbox console, too.

It's not clear what they're talking about. Most likely there was a bug that'd allow players other than the ones who got the palte buffs could see which ring to avoid

now the two buff players have to call their respective blue portals, 2 each

Then your only hope would be to try contacting Microsoft Support to see if they'd refund you the incorrectly purchased Silver, but stores tend to not refund game currency so I wouldn't hold your breath.

for agarios, in the 2nd dunking phase theres one unsafe ring to dunk in.
the player who needs to align was able to see that ring glowing red before they aligned.
that was patched.
now, you have to have the other two plate players communicate what colors they see where to find the unsafe ring

i dont understand, you have 3 players stand on plates to get their buffs, either one of them can align early or they can wait for the boss to grow impatient and force someone to align, that player used to be able to see the 1 bad portal. Solemn Rememberance has a chance to drop, and Pure Recollection is the bonus focus. I don't know exactly how bonus focus works but it only drops some of the time, it might be based on your performance

no, you're confusing the job of the aligner and the readers. the aligner is the person who goes under the boss, and they cannot see the coils. the readers stay in middle and call out the 2 coils that they see is blue. for example i see 1 and 3, you see 2 and 4, so 5 is the bad one. then, everyone else who does not have buff will collect chronons and run through 1, 2, 3 and 4

They have had a rework too, from 0-100 strength, discipline, and intellect is the same except they scale with all forms of regen (such as demo) rather than the base cooldown
they've made it so 101-200 gives extra damage of the respective ability for those stats too
they've changed some more stuff when it comes to recovery, mobility, and resilience, check the pins for details

Not really, no. As far as portal rewards go, that's way more dependent on your power (T4 needing 400+) than GR. GR is supposed to have some influence on some of the vendor/event stuff, but I haven't seen that broken down in a way that makes it meaningfully different than caring about your Power

Don't dismantle your highest power gear. If you're not going to equip it, throw it in the vault. As far as overall gear quality, as your Power increases, the base Tier of rewards will increase, and higher Tier armor is capable of higher base stats

Yep, that's how it's worked in D2 for years. As of last year it counts all gear, even gear for other chars. The only thing you can do that'll make high power gear not help your drops is dismantle it

The changes on paper are good. Getting high tier loot feels good, the stats matter and are powerful in build crafting. But Vault space is still and issue, grinding to a relevant power level to get high tier is miserable (though the game is still very playable at low tier), and drops are scaled weirdly.

I've had a lot of fun personally, but if the current system becomes the default longterm, I'll probably step away.

They are extending the cap in a couple weeks with a big update to 550, which will make 400-500 easy but 500-550 will be even worse than the current 450 grind

10-200 is the new player experience, 200-450+ is the seasonal grind. Seasons now last for 6 months, and the end of the season will reset everyone above 200 back to 200 so new/returning players can hop right into the action of a new season. Most Normal to Expert activities only require up to 200 power, so if you reach that point you technically never need to grind again

When you open an Exotic, you will get a random Exotic weapon or armor from the Exotic world pool. That pool doesn't contain every Exotic in the game, just a limited amount of them. It's also on a knockout system, so you won't get any repeats until you've got everything from the pool at least once. Once you have everything, you'll begin to get duplicates. At that point, you can only get new Exotics from Rahool/Monument to Lost Light using Exotic Ciphers, Dungeon/Raid drops, Xur, or quests.

I did testing when Edge of Fate came out and it effected reward multiplier, but then i did testing later on and it had no effect on reward multiplier later on. Not sure if it was silently removed or reaching a certain power level removed it.

In the older Armor 2.0 system, picking armor was pretty easy in PVE since most the stats weren't that good; 100 Resilience + 100 Discipline/Strength depending on if you were running a melee build.

In the new Armor 3.0 system, things are a bit more complicated since all the stats are relevant and can often make or break a build. Picking an Archetype that fits your playstyle/build is a good place to start.
