third iteration is pretty good, and the loop is fun, but you wont like it much if you generally dont like scout rifles, you get it from the season pass.
graviton spike is going insane in pvp right now, and is also pretty fun in pve. you get it from a post-campaign quest and can change the refit on it like other craftable exotics.
whirling ovation is the raid exotic, and while interesting i wouldnt say its high priority to get, especially since the catalyst wont release for 2 more weeks

Blind and DR should be most of your survivability. Play into it more using the turret aspect

You should be able to pump out enough blinding that you should have no issues

If you’re still having issues, you can go vesper of radius instead of geomags for another instance of blind

If you're talking about transferring items to from chars/vault, if you're making changes in-game, the app won't necessarily know about it immediately. FWIW, I find DIM is usually pretty good about checking before attempting inventory actions and, in the event it doesn't, has an easily available refresh button to force it to sync with the game data

without any info i'd assume since its a more difficult version it'll be the same -40 power it was last time since the prior contest was suppose to be -30. However we'll have more weapons available most likely and the new gear bonuses and seasonal mods. Keep in mind better ways to do that raid have surfaced since its completion but with the limited time and limited gear options back then people just used the first meta that was discovered. Also hopefully the bugs in previous one aren't as rampant in the next one. The reduced damage output, rally flags issues, slow movement, and reload or something bugs all contributed to making damage tougher as well.

What Grade are you getting? From 200-300 rewards can be up to +4 and from 300-400 they can only be +3, so if you're getting 300 at a B then that makes sense since they're basically giving you 300-400 power since you're right there.

Each activity in completing is maxed to A rating. I’m beating the timer and doing the side objectives. My modifiers are only making the combatants harder (350) but I’m stuck at 300 drops. I have no activities left for today that offer bonus drops either. So each time I run something I get 1 drop at 300 and I can’t get it higher by adding extra modifiers. I wonder if it’s because my overall power is 298 and not 300 yet?

I don't remember it playing out that way but yeah it sounds like you just knock set it to the weakest set of modifiers you can get an A on and just keep rolling through that until you get to 300

NF weapons don't work like that as of EoF releasing. Each time you complete a run of the day's NF (the NFs themselves are also on a daily rotation now) you get an NF weapon you haven't gotten before until you've gotten everything in the pool at least once.

Well, Year of Prophecy has no direct effect on Edge of Fate, since it's really a collection that includes Edge of Fate and Renegades, rather than being it's own separate thing. You do, however, get an extra rewards pass for having Year of Prophecy. You can still buy the rewards pass anyway while only owning Edge of Fate though.

I liked Edge of Fate, by which I mean everything related to the story on Kepler. I did not like every other change to the game that happened alongside the expansions release. Edge of Fate was great. I would call it a middle of the road campaign, but not a terrible one.

It's hard to hit another story banger right after The Final Shape but they did their best and I think the end result is pretty okay.

The game was in a better place when it was acquired by Sony, though not a great position, and there was a giant budget issue with both Lightfall and The Final Shape where they projected earnings way past what they actually earned. It caused massive layoffs. To my knowledge, most people have been just patiently waiting for Bungie to fully be consumed by Sony so that Sony can actually fix things that Bungie has not done anything with.

In reverse order, there's a new shooting range in the Tower area that you can load into. It'll let you damage test anything and everything you have from guns to abilities. I haven't played much recently but as I understand it, having higher power allows you to unlock higher difficulty content. If nothing else, getting a higher power gets you Tier 4s and 5s.

If a grenade launcher uses strand or stasis while using special ammo. it will use the kinetic slot

How do you use a lightning grenade on Arc to it's full potential? I fear i am using it as crowd control but i guess it's more specialized/single target focused? Plus i jolt using it but smaller infantry dodge it's limited range easily and big bosses, although get damaged a lot but i can't spread jolt
