Best I've got for you is to assume that things haven't changed much and launch those activities anyway, those activities being Vanguard Strikes, Gambit, and Crucible stuff. Beyond that, it's an rng drop and so it's not guaranteed that you'll get it immediately and will likely have to grind out for it. If I get better confirmation of what activities, if any, things drop from, I will update my sheet accordingly.

Certain activities, including raids, have a feature called "fireteam scaling" which will raise everyone to 5 power below the top person in the fireteam. So as long as you're playing with some experienced players, you'll be fine.

The main ways you can prepare are by looking up guides and ensuring you have the kinds of weapons people commonly use for each encounter.

If this is your first ever raid, I'd highly recommend joining a Sherpa group

Keep adding banes and other negative modifiers until it's projecting the rank you're after. Also, while doing the activity, aim to both do the bonus challenge as well as finish under the time limit

It is to my understanding that the Drop Mag Perk has been retired from random rotation on weapons, however I know there are a few that can still be gotten. What I do not know, are there any weapons that can be crafted to be given Drop Mag? I've only recently unlocked Weapon Crafting so I've not had the time to unlock much yet, but if there are some weapons that can be crafted with Drop Mag I will make a point of farming for those.

I think you realized since you deleted the comment, but just to clarify slightly, the Kell's Fall exotic mission can be found in two places; the Legend Exotic mission rotator and the Pinnacle Ops mission. Previously you could do the rotator mission to guarantee the weapon drop, but it seems like things might have changed with EoF, so I'm not sure if that's true anymore. People have reported getting it from the Pinnacle Ops mission, so I'd just stick with that

The loot pool from opening normal exotics does not include all the exotics in the game. The pool is on a knockout system, so once you've gotten one of everythign in the pool, you'll get duplicates. Once you're getting duplicates, the only way to get new pieces is by focusing them at Rahool, unlocking them at the Monument to Lost Light, getting them from Xur, or doing raids/dungeons/quests.

As for the Exotic class items: they are the only armor from before The Edge of Fate that will be converted fully into the new system. Each one will receive the maximum stats available for an Exotic (30 in the primary stat, 20 in the secondary stat, and 13 in the tertiary stat). To prevent this from massively increasing the number of possible class item rolls, these stats will be assigned based on their rolled perks: the archetype being determined by the left column perk, and the tertiary stat by the right column perk. However, this does mean that they can no longer be upgraded to Artifice Armor, and will lose any existing Artifice mod slot.

Requirements increase very 20 levels or so. Also, while equipped Power does not affect drops it does affect your ops score, so if you're wearing gear a good bit lower than your highest, that'll hurt things.

Yeah that one is known to be pretty buggy. If you're 100% sure it's the one you're missing, I believe folks have mentioned that continuing to shoot the boss as it dies tends to cause it to trigger. Otherwise you'll want to hit up bungie.net's help forums to see if they have any current guidance
