You can smash out Solo Ops missions in around 3-4 min with an A rank, which will usually reward you with gear that will increase your total power by 1. So 200-400 is roughly 200 runs, at 4 min each, is a safe 13.33 hours

At least with this most recent change, things seem to be a lot more forgiving for people that take breaks. Instead of the infinite climb upwards that you're forced to catch up on, they've changed the whole system. 10-200 is the new player experience, with most content only needing 200 to participate. Everything beyond 200 are seasonal levels, which reset each season. That means if you take a break and come back at the beginning of a future season, you'll be right there at 200 with everyone else, no catchup needed.

It should be pretty easy to go Paragon with Grenade random and slap on mods + Fonts to hit 200 Melee. You just have to make sure your rolls are getting at least 20 in Melee for each piece.

If you want to sweat without Fonts, you could go for Tier 5 Paragon with Grenade Random and Melee Tuning paired with a Brawler Exotic (with Super/Grenade Random). Without armor mods or fonts, you should be able to hit 150 Melee, 120-130 Super, and 100-110 Grenade, letting you easily max Melee with armor mods.

The issue I was talking about that prevented us from launching was that at the end of the narrative cutscene the entire fireteam got booted to orbit with the error "you don't have permission to play this activity"

thad wouldn't happen in the GM though because there's no cutscene for non-narrarive runs of excision

other issues maybe but the one I am talking about only should happen during narrative excision which only needs to be done once
