The max stats you can get on a new piece of gear is 30/25/20 at tier 4/5. Exotics aren't currently on the tier system but have equivalent stats of Tier 2, which I believe cap at 30/20/13. That means if you stack your points Primary/Secondary/Random, you'd have 150/120/93. Getting to 200 means you either need to stack your primaries correctly and have +50 mods/fragments, or you need to use Font mods.

Also, while what you're proposing will potentially work in theory, you're going to have to put in a lot of work to get those piece. Tuning is a random stat, so that's a 3rd set of RNG on top of Tier and Archetype. Speaking of Tier, the Tuning mod slot only drops on Tier 5. That's a lot of work and RNG to get a set of gear that makes a subpar exotic okay

Oh shit, with facet of ruin's +10 weapon I can put 2 more +5s into melee.

I'm p sure having 100+ class/melee and 200 weapon is possible.

With 4 specialists that gets you to 120 class and 100 weapon before mods/tuning. No more investment required.

Weapon gets to 110 with Facet of Ruin. 5 Weapon mods gets you to 160. Exotic primary slot being Gunner gets you to 190.

You just need all your tertiaries to be melee (which gets you to 93) and to get either melee or weapon tunes

System calculates with the modifiers added to account for the score you will probably get but doesn't account for time so realistically you could do a B mission and get an A score but adding modifiers will just increase it. To me, it seems like the new gear system is a way to counteract power creep. Make subpar weapons that become viable with the new gear bonus, then immediately fall off after the season so you're incentivized to grind for more, all without too much powercreep. Explosive Light could tempt me away from old BnS when there's a free 10% attached to it.

Hey guys me and a few friends are trying to finish this boss in the raid,
I know you need to deposit 30 motes on each relay to get them to like glow/fill with energy then link them to the matrix the boss spawns. Sometimes we deposit 30/30+ motes and it still doesn't glow or give us the pop up notification saying it's filled with energy (thus it ends up not linking to the matrix sometimes). Is there a known bug that we should watch out for/avoid?
If not, is there something we're doing wrong?

devil's ruin has intrinsic anti-unstop, you need to hit the champion with the laser iirc

yes but because dr is an exotic with an unstop intrinsic, it is not affected by the artifact, so it doesnt* proc the same way, you need to use the lazer.

it can’t take other effects like it’s always been

but any shot will stun a champion

Slowness bug happens from (what I've seen make most sense) die while you're still adsing

And apparently the game is using snapshotting if thats true, cause the game captures the last moment you were alive and spawns you in that same state but unlike a game like siege for example where you spawn adsing, you just spawn normally without adsing but your movement is coded as adsing
