• 99% of gear that is random rolled cannot be pulled from collections
• Exotic weapons and weapons that have fixed perk rolls that you've unlocked can be pulled
• Exotic armour and some legendary armour can be pulled, but they'll have a super low stat total (otherwise known as a collection roll)

i was told to prioritise 70 melee, at least 70 class then grenade as high as you can. this is for hoil + cyrt hunter but as a gifted conviction hunter you want the same thing but dont worry too much about grenades since you mainly rely on your ascension

you essentially always want 70 on class, melee and nade at the minimum (or as close as you can get to 70)

Hey guys Ive returned to Destiny 2 after legit 5 years of not playing. I noticed that my power lv. is at 10 and that ALL my items are a power level of 10. Everyone got reset back to 10 Power as of the most recent DLC Edge of Fate. Instead of power scaling up with each update, they've changed it to be a bit more friendly to new/returning players.

10-200 is the new player grind, with 200 as the soft cap. 200-450+ is the seasonal grind, and each new season resets everyone back to 200. This means that you can take a break for a year and come back ready to go for a new season/DLC.

Playing any activity in the game will get you from 10-200. 200+ is usually done through the new Portal menu and activities. Additionally, they made it so that you can do the complete power grind through solely PVP, which wasn't really possible before.

They should. Some activities seem to scale a bit better than others, but as long as you're below 200, any activity will help you climb.

The reason they did all this change is because they didn't want to limit people to the weekly Powerful/Pinnacle systems and timegate the grind. Now you can choose exactly how much you want to play and how far you want to go without worrying about weekly resets

Yes but be aware the new armor changes (armor 3.0) will only drop from the new edge of fate expansion or portal activities (it involves tiers on weapons and armor but that's something you can learn later tbh)

It depends on a few different things. The difficulty sets the base power of the enemies, check the pins to see which power applies to which difficulties.

Yes you are put 5 under the highest player in the team (unless you are within 5 light under their light)

Unless you do things like contest mode but those things usually say that it does not bring you up (really only high end game content uses your own light level)

Hey @vocal blaze is there any like "Daily" activity you do when getting online every day just to make sure u like collect ur rewards? I wanna optimize my play time on the days I work. So is there anything at low level thats like "for sure do that" instead of running around aimlessly

They changed the game to get away from that style of gameplay. You can check the Portal Hub to see what daily/weekly challenges exist for some nice little bonuses, and there are still the weekly Exotic rotator missions in the Legends menu, but otherwise they've gotten rid of most daily/weekly activities

Well I mean they took away featured missions from the game (raids and dungeons used to be featured which made them drop Pinnacle which don't exist don't more I guess to an extent and could be played at a harder difficulty) but I guess the portal has some stuff which can be considered that which is the daily and weekly missions (I think some can be done outside of the portal missions) they can give xp which boosts your pass and the portal menu also has a little pass which can give some things (main important things are the exotic ciphers and the engrams can be higher) the pass resets every week on Tuesday (weekly reset)
