Well with how old armor works, focusing either melee or discipline will actually lower the other (and super). So focus either health or weapons that way class and the other one you didn't focus is lower and those extra points will go into both melee and grenads

When it shows up in the Exotic mission rotator in the "Legends" menu, it's a guaranteed drop for finishing the mission. Pinnacle ops seems to work a bit different, but all of this is new to us and Bungie hasn't provided any details yet
