Area Denials don't stack, so if anyone else on your team is also using one, it can screw up yours. Not just the damage, but also Envious Arsenal reloads and whatnot.

Rotations add complexity in order to sometimes deal more damage, but they can also be quite fragile. If you listen to what Aegis says in that video, many of those rotations are proofs of concept but far more impractical in a live environment, and will deal less damage as a result. Lord of Wolves is so popular because it requires no setup, no specific outside support, and puts out stupid amounts of damage that outpaces many rotations.

Rotations can be fun, but generally it's recommended to lean into the most consistant damage option and focus on stacking buffs/debuffs unless you need to hit a very specific target damage (1-phase/skips, lowman/speeds, etc.)

I'd highly recommend getting very familiar with all the different weapons, perks, origin traits, and other in-depth stats of the game before diving into rotations. Rotations try to leverage as many of these things as they can to stack damage, so having an understanding is critical otherwise you won't get the same results.

Unless it's a PS only issue you can 100% bind the melees separately. Binding both charged and uncharged melee to the same button will make it so your charged melee is always prioritized while it's charged

Basically every titan main in the world changed the binds back when mini hammer bonk spam took off

If you bind both charged and uncharged ot the same button (instead of having auto melee bound to anything) it'll always prioritize the charged melee when it has a charge

I was trying to be able to trigger the melee ability (when off cooldown) instead of doing a simple punch attack when enemies are close. There are also chargeable melee attacks liker thunderclap. The setting you are referring to is in regards to which melee attack type?
