Noone answered you, sorry this is so late. Grasp is a bit different from other dungeon, it works a bit like raid loot. Your first chest from each encounter each week will roll for potentially new loot. After that, during the featured week, it will only roll loot from what you've already unlocked. If you weren't lucky enough to unlock the chest/gloves and only got the sword prior to now, no amount of farming will drop them until you try again next week.

You need to:

1. Complete the TFS campaign
2. Complete 1 full overthrow in all 3 Pale Heart zones
3. Kill a secret keeper in all 3 Pale Heart zones (secret keepers spawn at the end of an overthrow if [and only if] you have completed the requirement of completing an overthrow in all 3 zones already)
4. Go to the big green beam of light in the pale heart after killing the secret keepers

If you haven't completed any overthrows yet, the steps above require a minimum of 5 full clears, since completing the third zone for step 2 will also have a secret keeper spawn. I highly recommend looking up a guide on where they spawn since you only have a few minutes between one overthrow ending and the next beginning to find and kill them.

Bungie tried to add some animated shorts recapping what was removed, but it's explanations can sometimes be lacking. A lot of names get thrown around and it can be easy to lose track of characters. Personally I'd recommend watching a lore recap video alongside your playthrough and just pause it whenever you get to the story of a new campaign, then resume once you finish playing it

It's RNG. No, the game is not bugged for you, or broken, it's simply bad luck.

• Bungie does not publish drop rates.
• We don't know how many estimated runs it will take for a specific item to drop.
• We do not know how much drop-rate-boosting triumphs contribute either, since we don't know the base drop rate.
• Runs are all separate environments. A 1/3 chance does not mean you get the loot you want one out of three times, it just means there is that percentage of chance whenever you run the activity that you get said loot.
• Perks are not weighted. All weapons drop with their perks at the same rate.

Vex Strike Force

Vex Strike Force is a special public event on Neomuna that is guaranteed to drop an exotic on successful completion. Despite being on Neomuna, it does not require Lightfall to get rewards. The exotic loot pool is determined by what DLC you own (and includes LLS exotics). Unacquired exotics (only those released before The Final Shape) that you have access to are guaranteed to drop before duplicates.

When does it happen?

It's random. There's a discord server that runs a bot that'll alert you when one is coming and help you group up with other players to work on it. It's a difficult activity to solo so it's useful to have a big group.

If you are a solo player, keep in mind it is better to load into the Liming Harbor even if the VSF is in a different area as it is more likely you'll join instances with other people.

Note: VSF won't happen when Terminal Overload is active in the same spot.

I took a break from Destiny and returned recently to play the Final Shape after it was released for free for PlayStation, and I bought the season pass as well. However, the season is making me play the episodes backwards, so I started with episode 3. Today, I bought a gun called Choir of One from Xür, and to shape it, I need Episode 1, but it has me on Episode 2 right now. Is there any way that I can bypass it? The season is almost over and I don't think I have time to play through two whole episodes just to get the ability to shape it.

If the other team gets primeval first, you get a portal as soon as they summon prime. You'll get quite quick portals, like 45 secs until you also get prime. When yous both have prime I'd say it's about a minute between, maybe a bit less

your problem is that there's two different shadowshots, and orpheus only grants extra shots to one of them

I think you might be able to access the previous seasonal quests from the Quest Archive in the tower. I was able to pick up the starting quest of echoes that way, but because i didn't own it, i couldn't continue. You should be fine though :)
