Well for phase one try to move as much on the outer ring of the arena as possible

Be sure to kill the Tormentor before phase 2 starts, you dont want to have to fight two meele boss enemies in an enclosed space at the same time

if youre on strand use the grapple points as much as possible since the meele of that attack is pretty strong and grapple points dont consume your nade

We still don't know if it is per account or per character, though it sounds like it will be per account. If it is per character, you can get 41 engrams total which is enough for everything. If it is per account, which is likely, you can only get 27 total.

There's no reason to risk burning yourself out before a big release by doing tedious prep work if there's nothing to prep for, and the only thing that'd warrant prep is if you think you have a genuine shot at the raid race. Alternatively, if you're not going to be able to play for the first few weeks but have time now, doing some bounty prep so you can more quickly catch up artifact-wise just for general play is decent (especially since missing the first few weeks means you'll be taking a break after the prep grind).

If you do Focused Decryption on 12 Exotic Engrams, you'll max out Rahool. Stock up on those engrams and materials (plus a few extra for the new Exotics). Technically you can use less than 12, Squid created a list somewhere showing the optimal combo for Exotic + Prime Engrams.

trying to solo spire, im using riptide, joxers, and queenbreaker with well-lock and starfire fusions. I can't break the eye's fast enough on first boss and cant really get a more than a million damage a dps phase, not sure what i can change
