Unless you mess up setting up cross save, yes. Speaking of which, I'd highly recommend you finish setting up cross save (and verify things still work as you expect by logging in on your PS and EGS after you've finalized things) before buying Light & Dark. The TFS season passes and TFS dungeon key might not be linked up properly if you don't.

Exotics/gear yes. You wouldn't be able to use Strand on PS without buying LIghtfall on PS, and you wouldn't be able to play any activities from DLC you don't own on the platform you're playing on.

• Anything purchasable with Silver (including Season Passes and Dungeon Keys)
• Quests and quest progress

Full DLCs such as expansions and the 30th Anniversary pack do not sync via cross save. You will have to re-purchase on linked platforms if you want to play that content (including accessing Strand and Prismatic).

It's RNG. No, the game is not bugged for you, or broken, it's simply bad luck.

• Bungie does not publish drop rates.
• We don't know how many estimated runs it will take for a specific item to drop.
• We do not know how much drop-rate-boosting triumphs contribute either, since we don't know the base drop rate.
• Runs are all separate environments. A 1/3 chance does not mean you get the loot you want one out of three times, it just means there is that percentage of chance whenever you run the activity that you get said loot.
• Perks are not weighted. All weapons drop with their perks at the same rate.

Sunshot and Graviton Lance are fantastic primary exotics that go in the energy slot

avoid using double primary for any content
and Lodestar is also a pvp weapon and is kinda crap for pve activities

Nobody has put together a reliable data gathering method. It's a little more complicated than just comparing how many times they've done the encounter vs when the exotic drops, there are other factors that increase the drop rate that are unknown as well. Additionally, since Bungie doesn't release their rates, we don't know how often they change them. That's not to say someone shouldn't be tracking these, but unless you want to be the person taking the initiative and building the app to do so, it doesn't seem like anyone else wants to either.

• A Rising Chorus in your quests
• Meteoric on the Nessus map
• Na-Veskirisk in your quests
• Na-Veskirisk on Europa

Run down the list above. The first two are for Echoes. Na-Veskirsk is Revenant. There's a bug where the Revenant intro often needs to be done before you can start/progress Echoes. So if the first two aren't showing but Na-Veskirisk is, you'll need to do that and the Revenant prologue quest before you can do Meteoric to start the Echoes story.

Keep in mind armor and stats are getting a significant rework on July 15th so I wouldn't necessarily spend a ton of time on armor farming unless you're specifically trying to farm towards stats that'll translate to what you want in Y8.

To me it seems like a controller issue, so the easiest way to test that would be with another controller or by plugging in a usb keyboard. If there is a way to remap buttons (Elite controller or something) you could try that to check if the two box button is broken.

I guess you could try old faithful and fully power down your xbox + controller, wait 15 sec, then turn them back on and try again.

Most people online with a similar problem to you are reporting having a broken controller. I found on reddit thread from 3 years ago that suggest going into the D2 settings and setting the layout to "Default" and "Swap Shoulder Buttons" to "On". Not sure why that helped people then, but it was the only answer apart from try a different controller or plug in a keyboard

To explain a bit further, most meta Warlock builds don't use the class exotic, they use things like Getaway Artist, Rimecoat Raiment, Geomags, Sanguine Alchemy, etc. However, there are a few builds like the Lightning Surge build that prefers Spirit of Inmost Light + Spirit of Synthoceps to spam as many melees as possible.

• Lumina has some use in raid/dungeon DPS setups
• Ace of Spades, Last Word, and Thorn are nice HCs for PVP
• Anarchy is worth grabbing if you have the Spoils of War for it.

For the non-Forsaken weapons, many of them are useless but a few have their niches. Personally I would save your Exotic Ciphers until they're maxed before buying weapons. But if you're deadset on unlocking something, Witherhoard is likely a priority. Personally, I'd prioritize using my Ciphers to unlock as many different Exotic Armors as I could with Rahool's Novel Decryption to prep for the next update.

Chill Clip Tinasha's is the main thing, once you have that you are "done" with Iron Banner.

• Multimach has a decent roll with Orbs + KT, but you can claim a free one from Banshee.
• Tusk of the Boar was the best Kinetic-slot Waveframe GL, but the new New Pacific Epitaph from RotN GotD is slightly better (though Tusk can get slideways if you want to spam shots). However, Waveframes are pretty powercrept by Area Denials and Rocket Sidearms, so not as much reason to have them unless you're coping like me.
• Warlord's Spear is decent if you don't have a Detonator Beam Trace, but that's not very high on the priorities.
• Claws of the Wolf is a pretty good Void Pulse, but Gridskipper is also a Void Rapid with better perks. Joxer's Longsword also outclasses it.
• Archon's Thunder is the best Stasis LMG, but that's not saying much. There is also a meme roll with RR + FttC, but please don't actually go for it haha
• Crimil's Dagger is actually a meta PVP option with some great rolls, but chasing it depends on if you even like playing PVP.

If you have both done the intro to Echoes, the mission Meteoric on Nessus, but cannot see the rest, ensure that you actually own Episode Echoes, and that you've both progressed the Revenant intro, Na Veskirisk, until such a point that Tonics are unlocked. After some time, the rest of the Act for Echoes should be available - assuming you both do actually own the Episode.

The problem with Verity, more than other encounters, is that you either know the mechanic or you don't. And then the encounter tests that by making you do it 3 times in somewhat random roles. So it can be frustrating if you join a group that claims they know it, only to get stuck because someone doesn't. There's not a lot of lucking through or carrying people unless the majority of people can do the mechanic, in which case it's kind of a non-issue anyway.

What usually happens in farm parties is that someone will call out the order of the first two oracles (since the last one can be assumed). So like 23 or 15 or something. Then the people inside shoot them in that order. If you're going for challenge, each person inside just shoots one, so you'll usually assign an order

Getaway artists is really strong and uses base prismatic and an older exotic.
Weapons can be literally whatever you want, i usually use tinasha/rake/primary + choir of one/lord of wolves/vs velocity baton. Eat grenade and make two turrets repeat its super easy and versatile. Swap out solitude for something else if not using precision hits.

I’ve just had heaps of these keepsake shaders pop up in my shader tabs while changing my guardians ornaments, but all I can do is preview them, so I was wondering if there was any way to get them? Or is the game just trying to rub these shaders in my face?

They are only for weapons when you put the mementos on them. For some reason they can be previewed on armor but they can never be equipped on armor

The game first checks if your engram slots are full whenever you try to pick up an engram or buy something from a vendor, even though Legendary engrams don't stay in your inventory. If there's a slot empty, it'll then check if there is an available slot in the part the item is supposed to go. If there is an empty slot there, it'll appear in the correct location. If either one of them is full, it'll default to postmaster.
