Armour is being fully reworked next DLC. As far as stats go, Resilience is damage resistence. 100 of that is all you need, and I wouldn't bother farming for more until the rework.

Assuming you've got the key and everything, most likely is you got to the pod in a way that skipped a loading zone. I'd recommend re-loading into the Treasure Hoard and look up a video of someone getting there to make sure you didn't accidentally get there from the exit or something.

It’s a bug with how they story boarded it. You need to go to Europa and do the Na-Veskirisk quest first to start Episode Echoes
