There’s the chance of bungie deciding what weapon type gets a champion mod and what type of champion said mod will counter

guys if your engrams are full so an exotic becomes an engram in the postmaster, do you then have to take that engram to rahool or do you get the armor directly out of postal?

i ask because if you have to decrypt, you could fill up your engrams and spam activities that give you tons of exotics (gms) and farm exotic engrams that way (for rahool resets)

If I recall correctly, Exotics that do not drop as engrams naturally, meaning that you see an armor piece or a weapon appear on the right side of your screen, will auto decrypt into that if they don't automatically turn into an engram, once you pull them from the Postmaster.

Best bet would be to screenshot exactly what you're talking about because the odds of you having a quest for a campaign you can't start are very low. Every campaign's introduction is available for all players, for example.

Empire Hunts are missions. I do not recall if they are included in the free version of Beyond Light. There should be a series of flags on the ground outside Variks' indoor space that are labeled Empire Hunts. You can also launch one from the Europa Map. If neither of those are there, it is likely that you need to progress Variks further to unlock them.

Why is X not dropping?
It's RNG. No, the game is not bugged for you, or broken, it's simply bad luck.

• Bungie does not publish drop rates.
• We don't know how many estimated runs it will take for a specific item to drop.
• We do not know how much drop-rate-boosting triumphs contribute either, since we don't know the base drop rate.
• Runs are all separate environments. A 1/3 chance does not mean you get the loot you want one out of three times, it just means there is that percentage of chance whenever you run the activity that you get said loot.
• Perks are not weighted. All weapons drop with their perks at the same rate.

I don't think they apply retroactively to old weapons. Iirc normal weapons are equivalent to tier 1, standard crafted/enhanced weapons = tier 2, and weapons with double perks that are enhanced = tier 3

Not sure about 4 but I think tier 5 is totally new and has triple perks in the 2 last perk columns and can get enhanced barrel and mag perks
